It's hard to know where to start with scrapping. There's so much out there, and making your first page is intimidating. (How do you get over the fear that whatever you do in the beginning, it's going to suck?!) I've found the best way to find your style and get an idea of what you want to do, is look at the really good scrappers and see what you like. (Then copy them! hee.) I've always kind of scrapped off and on, but I never got GOOD at it (ok, I'm good in my mind) until I started looking at scrapbook magazines and browsing online scrapbooking galleries. Web-browsing and magazine obsessions can get expensive and time-intensive, though, so I'm giving you a shortcut. Here is my list of must-see paper-scrappers -- women who are either pseudo-Scrapbook celebs, or who have really figured out what page design is all about and just haven't gotten credit/recognition for it yet. I've used their real names except when I'm not sure, then I've used their user names. I tried to pick a representation of several different styles so you can get an idea of how many options there are out there (of course, we do run the risk that this is representative of just what I like.) Click on each name to be taken to their user profile. Scroll down and you will see the scrapbook layouts they have posted. Click on the numbers or Next on the right side to see subsequent pages. Lay-outs are all shown as thumbnails -- if you see one you like, click the thumbnail to see it bigger on a new page. In the list, when you see a name then /2, that means they are Garden Girls at TwoPeas (design team). Their name is linked to their gallery, the GG to their Garden stuff. You might have to click "Click here to view ALL seeds" to see all their entries.
