My first scrapbook pages. (They suck.) PDF Print E-mail

My idea of scrapbooking pretty much used to be cut out pictures in silouette form, slap them in a piece of stationary I found at Office Max, then sticker sneeze some pictures I'd gotten at Walmart or the Hallmark Store.

I know.  I'm cringing, too.

What's really funny to me, looking back, is that I honestly thought I was making these WONDERFUL scrapbook pages.  Even though as I have time, I'm making new pages with the same pictures (luckily I only used copies, I didn't butcher any original pictures!), I'm keeping these pages in the scrapbook.  Because they're a part of who I was when Jake was a baby.  And I still think they're kind of cute (despite being horribly designed.)  Umm, and they make me laugh.  Really hard.

And the reason I'm SHOWING these pages to you (and embarassing myself a bit) is to prove that everyone has to start somewhere, and even people who make kind of bad scrapbook pages really do have their heart in the right place.
