Here are some more fun examples of digitally created Holiday cards to get you inspired to create your own!!! (This is a companion entry to "All About Cards / Holiday Cards.")
1. By Amy Bayless -- "can you believe that was my very first layout ever???" Ok, Amy Bayless is rocking my world!!! Here's another one from her!!! All elements from Creative Snaps' "fa la la" kit.
By Jen Strange -- I designed this for my mom, as a 4x6 regular-sized photo, to include in her Christmas cards. My older sister Sheri took the pics of Jake with mom and I. Paper is from Jasbeanie's Green Holly Kit (one of my favorites!)
1. By Amber Clegg -- "All elements desined by me :) Am at amsdigiscraps.com. It should be available in a Christmas kit soon." 2. By Yvette Sanders -- "I did my cards in 6x4 this year. All graphics are from my soon to be released kit Kids Christmas Paper Pack at SOTB." 1. By Monica McLain -- "Everything (and I do mean everything, papers, staples, wordart) is from Dani Mogstad's Santa Baby paper pack and embellishments from DesignByDani.com. The font I used in my greeting is Fabulous 50's.
As far as the photo, the settings themselves was the easy part. Getting him to smile and stop clanking the bulbs and braking them was not so easy. lol. I used a black blanket and lots of natural light and took the photo with no flash. The photoshop color accent technique is nothing new, but I switched it up a little bit by going more mocha colored instead of true Black and white."
