When I first started writing about scrapbooking, it was to try to explain to my on-line friends how to paper scrap. (Actually, at the time, I didn't know about digital at all -- so it was just about scrapbooking!) This section will have a lot of what I wrote for them, and maybe some fun new stuff as time allows. This is what my introduction from back then said:

Welcome to *Scrappin' With Jen*! I hope that you enjoy hanging out and learning more about the coolest hobby ever -- *Scrapbooking*!

I'm a simple scrapper. A busy scrapper. A scrapper on a budget. A scrapper obsessed with getting my pictures and thoughts into albums and making them look good. I will teach you what I think a beginner needs to hear, and where you go from there is up to you. The sub-culture of scrapbooking is extremely vast, but only needs to be as complicated as YOU want it to be for you.

Why listen to me? I'm the first to admit, I'm not an expert.  But what I DO know, is *I love scrapbooking*. And I will tell you about it and help you learn about it *for free*. I just love scrappin' and I want to talk about it. I like to teach. I like to learn. I like a challenge. I like making new friends. So pull up a chair and let's see what we can do.
